Copenhagen, the gentle northern light.
What struck me as soon as I arrived in Copenhagen on that December day, was the soft light that pervaded the city. Perhapsperhaps because winter is special in these northern lands , where the low, diffuse rays and diffuse rays highlight the relief in a general atmosphere that gives a feeling of intimacy.

A stroll through the city leads me naturally to Nyhavn. This was once one of Denmark’s major merchant shipping centers, now transformed into a tourist hub with its typical bars. It’s easy to get carried away by dreams of faraway journeys, and the charm of the warmly-colored facades reflected in the calm water adds an artistic touch.

A little further on, Amalienborg is the Queen’ s residence in Copenhagen, four palaces around a square where you can watch the changing of the guard in the changing of the guard at noon every day . A visual and aural moment straight out of the monarchic heritage.

At the end of town, an abandoned military base in the Christianshavn Christianshavn was occupied by squatters in 1971. Christiania then became a free space away from the life of the capital , with its own rules and its own rules and its distinctive charm of a colorful that contrasts with the military rigor of the buildings.
At dusk, the light in the parks is particularly interesting, and the softness of the landscape could almost make you forget the rigors of winter. A little further on, and you’ll naturally arrive at …or rather to the start of what could be a Viking adventure to conquer new lands. the little mermaid seems to suggest with her gaze turned out to sea.
